Teaching Assistant

Join a supportive Special Educational Needs (SEN) department in a successful Manchester based secondary school. This role is ideal for any candidates looking to secure a full-time long term position supporting students across years 7 – 11.

Highlights of this Teaching Assistant position;

  • Salary based on experience GBP1200 - GBP1350 per month

Working as a Teaching Assistant, successful candidates will be responsible for supporting small groups of students with Educational Health Care Plans and working 1:1 with specific students. We are looking for a caring and nurturing individual to work alongside students inside and outside of the classroom.

The ideal candidate will have previously worked with students with SEN and will have the ability to quickly establish positive relationships with students and staff. The successful candidate will join a forward thinking and motivated SEN department and therefore, the ability to work on your own and as part of a team is essential.

This successful secondary school consistently receives excellent Ofsted reports and is highly reputable in the local area. The school has a modern building with excellent facilities throughout and will provide the successful teacher with a welcoming and positive working environment.
