This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or for any recent graduates who are considering a career in teaching but wish to gain practical paid work experience in a welcoming secondary school environment.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be responsible for supporting students across years 7-11 and will participate in a variety of roles inside and outside of the classroom. These roles will include managing pupil behaviour and promoting positive behaviour, supporting in the classroom, helping prepare lesson activities and resources and delivering tailored teaching activities to pupils on either a one-to-one basis or in small groups.

The successful applicant will act as positive role models throughout school and will support students in helping them achieve their true potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
