Do you have experience working with individuals with challenging behaviour and other learning difficulties?

A secondary school in Torquay is seeking a full time Teaching Assistant to support their pupils in their inclusion department. This role will start in September and continue until Christmas in the first instance - with the view to be extended. 

SEN experience is essential to this role. 

The successful Teaching Assistant will need:

  • Recent experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour (secondary school aged pupils is desirable) 
  • Have a strong behaviour management and relationship skills
  • To be a calm, friendly and build rapport with students
  • Be a reliable and enthusiastic teaching assistant who is able to commit to 5 day a week

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
