Are you looking to make a difference to the lives young people with severe, complex and moderate learning difficulties and disabilities?

Due to new learner intake this new academic year, our school and college are looking for a small number of enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistants to complement our educational team.

Working with their students aged from 6 to 18 years (school) and 19 to 25 years (college) who have varied learning needs and often quite complex support needs, you’ll be assisting our teachers and other colleagues to deliver learning programmes, both in the classroom and the community.

Typically, your role will be to support the class teacher to deliver specific curriculum sessions, working on a 1-1 basis helping students in their small class group, attending to their learning and physical needs including therapy programmes.

Applicants should be good communicators, empathetic, creative and passionate about education. You bring the motivation and we will provide a position which offers tremendous fulfillment, plus a fantastic range of training and support to develop your skills in this sector.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
