Teaching Assistant
Looking for an TA role?
Due to the increasing demand for Specialist Teaching Assistants and Teaching Assistants to work in SEN schools in the North Nottingham area, Teaching Personnel are recruiting a Teaching Assistant in NG17 and the surrounding area to start after half term. The ideal candidate will have experience with SEN whether that be on a professional or personal basis.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supervising small group activities.
- Helping students who may need extra help in the classroom and extra support to complete tasks.
- Working 1:1 with SEN students or in small groups.
- Aiding with the management of class behaviour.
- Carrying out administrative tasks.
- Experience working with SEN Students (Desirable but not essential)
Some desirable attributes for the role are as follows:
- Good organisational skills.
- A passion for working with children.
- Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant recent experience.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Caring nature.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Experience working within an SEN school.
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with any incidents.
An up-to-date child only workforce DBS on the update service is a key requirement for all applicants (we can assist with this).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
