Job description

SEN Tutor – Nottinghamshire

Are you an empathetic and committed educator with a passion for supporting learners with additional needs? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Tutor to deliver one-to-one tuition to students across Nottinghamshire, helping them build confidence, make meaningful progress and reach their full potential.

The Role

As an SEN Tutor, you will:

  • Work 1:1 with students who have special educational needs

  • Plan and deliver engaging, personalised sessions tailored to individual learning styles and needs

  • Support students’ academic development, confidence and wellbeing

  • Create a positive, structured and nurturing learning environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have experience teaching or tutoring, ideally with SEN learners

  • Be confident in planning and delivering engaging, adaptable sessions

  • Be patient, understanding and flexible in your approach

  • Have strong communication and relationship-building skills

This role is based in Nottinghamshire, offering opportunities to work locally with students in the area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
