Teaching Personnel are seeking a qualified / experienced Teaching Assistant for an exciting new role to support pupils with medical needs at a very small school in Sleaford.
We're looking for someone who...
Suitable candidates will ideally be available full time, but we may consider part time hours for the right person. You will be qualified to level 2 or above, and / or have significant experience of supporting pupils with SEN in either a mainstream school environment or alternative provision.
The role...
You will support the social, emotional and mental health needs of students in very small groups or on a 1:1 basis in different classes across the school. Due to the needs of the students the lessons are around 45 minutes long with a strong emphasis on a therapeutic and calming environment. The students may be on a program whereby they stay at the school receiving care for severe anxiety, self harm, eating disorders and mental health needs.
