Level 3 Teaching Assistant required at an Ofsted rated 'GOOD' Primary School in Heaton Moor, Stockport (SK4). 

The school are looking for a proactive, dedicated and flexible Teaching Assistant to support learning across the school on a full time basis starting ASAP (or once all the necessary vetting checks have been completed). The successful Teaching Assistant will encourage and guide learners across KS1 and KS2 who need additional assistance in all subject areas. 

This Teaching Assistant role is to work in a larger than average Primary School in Heaton Moor. The school have been praised for their 'high standards' for learning and for the 'happy and positive ethos' that the school displays. 

The Head Teacher and Senior Leaders at the school are looking for a level 3 Teaching Assistant who is able to use their initiave, build strong relationships with children and colleagues whilst working as a positive role model for children across the school. 

To be considered for this post, you will: 

  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent 
  • Have recent experience supporting learning in a primary school environment 
  • Be comfortable will all areas of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum 
  • Be able to take the full class where necessary
