KS1 Teaching Assistant
A reputable Primary School in the Fulwood area of Preston have approached Teaching Personnel requesting a Teaching Assistant for Key Stage 1. The SENCO and Headteacher of the school are keen to secure an experienced practitioner to work alongside children across Y1 and Y2 within the classroom as well as delivering support interventions and small group work to pupils with additional needs. The role will be working alongside two class teachers and working collaboratively to plan to suit the needs of everyone. Experience of supporting phonics would be advantageous as would experience of working alongside children with Speech and Language difficulties however this is not an essential requirement.
This role is expected to continue until the end of the academic year at least. Rates of pay are competitive for work of this nature and start at GBP10 per hour. The role is to begin as soon as possible, and the working hours are 8:45-15:15.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
