We are representing several schools in the South Sheffield area, who are in search for new teaching assistants to support class teachers following the October half term.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a degree (any subject)
• Have a passion for education and child development
• Be available for an immediate start

Roles and responsibilities:

• Working 1:1 with SEN and EAL students during lessons
• Utilising behavioural support strategies to minimise classroom disruption
• Supporting the teacher to plan and deliver creative and engaging Key Stage 2 lessons
• Managing and designing display boards to capture the attention of young learners
• Working in alignment with the school safeguarding and disciplinary procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
