Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a teaching assistant to join a modern double form entry primary school in the start of the new academic year. You would be joining this thriving primary school, accompanied by a team of welcoming and highly experienced staff and a strong senior leadership team. This school prides itself on understanding the needs of all pupils in order for them to reach their full learning potential.

You would be an integral part of the school, you would be assisting a teacher in running the year 4 mixed class, this would involve but may not be limited to- behaviour and classroom management, monitoring the progress and development of the pupils- assisting some key pupils on a 1:1 basis who may require additional support (experience with SEN/challenging behaviour would be beneficial) , organisation of the classroom and the class resources and creating a fun, safe working environment where children can thrive.

The ideal candidate for the position: 

- Experienced Teaching assistant

- passionate about primary education

- Enhanced childs workforce DBS on the update service (we can help with this) 

- Safeguarding Training

- Experience with SEN/challenging behaviour

- UK address and right to work 

- Motivated and hard working

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
