The Astrea Academy Trust is a 26 strong Multi Academy Trust with 21 academies in South Yorkshire, covering Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham, Dearne and Doncaster. Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint an experienced, hardworking Teaching Assistant, to support Class Teachers with 1-1 and group learning, ensuring each pupil receives a positive, engaging and rewarding learning experience.

The role would require you to have a strong understanding of SEND and SEMH and hold relevant experience of working with children with a range of needs.

We require:

  • Available to start work in January/February.
  • Have similar experience in a previous role.
  • long-term supply/cover role with good availability Monday to Friday.
  • Have a full UK driving license or good transport links.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
