Teaching Personnel have a Future Teachers scheme which is aimed at graduates who want to get into teaching but don't  have necessary the classroom experience.

You would start the role as a Graduate Teaching assistant/ Support worker, this will give you the foundations to build your experience before applying for the schools teaching programme

We are recruiting graduates from different backgrounds e.g. Psychology, Sociology, English, Education. Who are looking to gain some experience within primary schools in Bradford and Keighley in particular. We are looking for graduates who are passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives. This would be a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience within a school before doing their Teacher Training.

Essential criteria: Graduates with a background in Psychology, Sociology, English, Education or other related subjects. Passion for working with children.

Desirable criteria: Previous experience of working with children. Knowledge of SEN needs. Knowledge of Makaton, Team teach or other related courses.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
