• Support children with additional learning needs
• Assist the classroom teacher with the planning, implementation and evaluation of pupils educational plans
• To demonstrate the ability of working with disabled children
• Provide social and emotional support when needed
• GBP57 - GBP65 per day, above the National Living Wage
• Full Time position – January 2020 start

Job Description:- SEN Teaching Assistant

You will be part of the Special Needs Resources Base team as part of this role and you will be expected to support children with additional learning needs and assist the classroom teacher with the planning, implementation and evaluation of pupils’ educational plans. You will also need to help the pupils understand instructions, given by the classroom teacher, through repetition, re-phrasing or demonstrating. You will need to work autonomously as part of a team within a range of settings and support the teacher with the deliverance of the national curriculum through planned lessons and activities.
