Are you passionate about supporting the education of pupils with SEMH? Do you want to work as a Teaching Assistant? Have you got experience of working in a Primary or Secondary School supporting pupils with SEN? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for a College in Beverley. We are proud to be working closely with our client College who requires a Teaching Assistant for General support in September 2020. This role with be on a permanent basis once the successful candidate has passed a probationary period on timesheets.
To apply for this position, you must be able to work from 9.00am until 4.45pm. We are able to accommodate both full-time and part-time hours for this position.
You will be required to work with pupils who display challenging behaviour and/or have SEMH, MLD, very moderate Autism and ADHD. Depending on the needs of the pupil, you could be required to work on a 1:1 basis or as part of a class. You will also be working with teachers and other staff members, to ensure pupils stay engaged in lessons and feel valued.
