The school are seeking a Teaching Assistant who either have experience working with children with SEN as well as recent graduates in Education or Psychology who want to work with special educational needs. The school is based in Morden, close to a train station with great transport links. The students in this mainstream primary school have a variety of special educational needs including ASD, ADHD, challenging behaviour or learning difficulties, so if you have experience of working 1-2-1 with SEN or have a passion and desire to supporting children with additional needs then these could be the roles for you. You will be supporting your dedicated child in the classroom, helping the class teacher within the class. Your main role will be to build a rapport with your allocated child and help them feel confident in and out of the classroom and help to receive the best possible education.
