Teaching Assistant – Rochdale

Full time Teaching Assistant required after the half term break to support pupils on a 1:1 and group basis

-          Full time position as a Teaching Assistant, with the opportunity to work on a part time flexible basis if required

-          Working within an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ school in Rochdale with state of the art facilities #

-          Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis in class as well as on a small group basis between lessons and after school

-          Earn up to GBP70 a day as a Teaching Assistant, dependent on your experience and responsibilities held

The incoming Teaching Assistant will be joining a very welcoming and supportive department in which the needs of each individual pupil are catered to specifically whilst promoting an enjoyable and strong environment for learning. With state of the art facilities, the school offers excellent teaching and learning provisions throughout the large site which is based in the heart of Rochdale, a short distance from major public transport links to the city centre, making it easily accessible in the mornings.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working alongside the SENCO to tailor plans for each individual pupil and ensuring their needs are met whilst supporting a range of abilities from KS3 to GCSE level. This will include 1:1 work with specified students, assisting them with their in class work for a range of subjects as well as working with small groups of pupils, supporting them to raise attainment across the board.
