Teaching Assistant
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a number of Teaching Assistants to work on a 1:1 basis with special educational needs. We need TA’s to work in schools all around Cornwall, so there will be plenty of opportunities for work close to where you live. We require a child care related qualification, equivalent to a level 3 or higher as well as previous experience of working with SEN. You will be working both inside and outside of the classroom and therefore will need to hold a full, clean driving licence. The roles we have are full time and permanent and will allow you the chance to further your progression as a TA.
When working for Teaching Personnel, we can offer you a consultant who will dedicate their time to working on your behalf in securing you this role as well as assistance during your registration. We can also offer you a competitive pay rate, a personal diary that allows changes if you need time off and security within a role.
If you are interested in applying for this role all you need is an updated CV with a personal statement, education and employment (paid or voluntary), reference details for your two most recent employers and the willingness to progress throughout. We also require a DBS on the Update Service which we can apply for upon interview.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
