Teaching Assistant

Our client secondary school require additional support in the new academic year in order to ensure 1:1 guidance for identified pupils.

• Full-time Teaching Assistant.
• Required immediately until the end of the academic year.
• Earn up to GBP350 per week, depending on previous experience.
• Work within an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ Secondary school in Bury.
• Supporting students with SEN aged 11-16 across a range of lessons.
• Any experience supporting children is desirable.

The incoming teaching assistant will be working within the SEN department alongside supporting pupils within mainstream classrooms. You will be expected to assist the teacher in planning, managing and preparing resources and adjusting these to suit specific pupils’ needs.

To be considered for this role experience working within an educational setting with children and young people who have SEN or behavioural needs is desirable but all experience will be considered.

Located in the Bury area, the school can be accessed via the M66 and A56. For non drivers, there is a number of public transportation links meaning the school can be accessed from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Prestwich and central Manchester.
