New and exciting Teaching Assistant role in Hayle.

If you are confident and motivated individual with a passion for education, then we may have the perfect role for you!.

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work on a part time basis from January. The role is a 15 hour position but additional hours can be provided If they are wanted.

POSITION: Learning Assistant- KS2

PERSON: Ideal for people with relevant qualifications or experience

SCHOOL: Excellent Primary School – ages 8 - 11

LOCATION: Hayle

TRANSPORT: Full driving licence as transport links are limited.

START DATE: January 2020

PERSON: - The school is looking for someone…

To work with small groups of students and support learning on a daily basis. You will be assisting the Teacher is their lessons and may be required to work on a 1:1 basis with a child if they require additional support. The schools is dedicated to providing the best levels of education to the children and therefore need someone with relevant experience of working with children *(this doesn’t have to be within a school. The role could lead to a permanent position so you must be willing to progress within the company and be engaging at all times.

ROLE: - What will your role include…

If successful, you will become part of a fantastic team. You will be expected to work alongside the class teacher in supporting the students both inside and outside of the class. You may be expected to take on extra responsibility such as lunchtime duty but this will contribute to your CV. With this new role, your main duties will be to assist with Maths and English so a good understanding of this is necessary and knowledge of the National Curriculum is advantageous. Although providing educational support is a big part of the role, you will be supporting personal development as well, this means you must be caring and patient.
