Teaching Assistants – Long-Term & Short-Term Roles Available (SEN, 1:1, and General Support)
Location: Ipswich and Surrounding Areas (including Felixstowe, Stowmarket, Woodbridge, Hadleigh)
Daily Pay: £89.60 – £100
Start Dates: Immediately September
Contract Type: Long-Term and Temporary Positions Available

Are you passionate about education and keen to support children in the classroom? Whether you’re an experienced Teaching Assistant or just starting your journey, we’re looking for dedicated individuals to join schools across Ipswich and nearby areas.

We’re recruiting Teaching Assistants for a wide range of roles – from general classroom support to working 1:1 with pupils, and within SEN settings. Opportunities are available in both mainstream primary schools and Specialist Resource Bases (SRBs), starting after the Easter half-term and in September.

  • ✅ Enthusiastic, proactive individuals with a genuine desire to support children

  • ✅ Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills

  • ✅ Previous school experience is great – but not essential

  • ✅ A willingness to learn and adapt to different classroom needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
