We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive school. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a real difference in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to primary-aged students with special educational needs, both in one-to-one and small group settings.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all students feel safe and supported.
- Support classroom teachers with behaviour management and student engagement.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to monitor student progress and adapt support accordingly.
- Assist with personal care and mobility needs, if required.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children with SEN
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Knowledge of special educational needs such as autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or learning disabilities is advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
