Salary: £13.75 an hour

If you answered yes to the above, then this job opportunity for a SEN(D) Teaching Assistant may be for you! An SEN school based in Yeovil is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.

 

The Role:

You will be responsible for supporting classroom teachers in providing the best support possible to pupils ranging in the ages 4-19 years old, with various SEN(D) needs such as MLD, SEMH and ASD.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) experience
  • Youth work experience
  • Excellent spoken English
  • Dedicated to improving the social and emotional well-being of young people
  • A caring, patient, and resilient individual with a compassionate approach to supporting young people
  • Able to collaborate with teachers and other support staff
  • Clear communication skills

 

Working Hours/Benefits:

  • Full Time, Part Time, and Flexible availability applicants will be considered for this role
  • Monday – Friday = 08:30 - 15:35

  • 12.07% Holiday Pay
  • Please note, this role is Term-Time Only
