Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Full-Time | Wythenshawe
Start Date: January
Key Stages: EYFS – KS2
Teaching Personnel is delighted to support a number of welcoming and nurturing primary schools across Wythenshawe, all of which are seeking experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to provide PPA cover across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. This is a full-time position starting in January.
This role is ideal for confident and capable Level 3 TAs who are keen to take on additional responsibility by delivering pre-prepared lessons—without the requirement to plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across a variety of year groups during teachers’ PPA time
- Support pupils’ learning and encourage active participation
- Maintain positive behaviour and foster a supportive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to contribute to pupils’ academic and personal development
Candidate Requirements
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Confident experience leading whole-class sessions
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
- Flexibility to work across multiple age groups and key stages
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Role Details
- Contract: Full-time, Monday–Friday (term-time only)
- Start Date: January 2026
- Pay: Competitive daily rates, dependent on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
