English and Math catch up TA wanted for Superschool in Tredegar
A superschool located in Tredegar are looking for a teaching assistant that can help with English and Math’s catch up. Due to the set back of Covid19 lots of students are behind where they should be regarding their education. The school are looking to recruit a Teaching assistant that can come in and work 1 to 1 with students and take small groups aside to work on literacy and numeracy.

The school is a superschool located in Tredegar. The school is an amalgamation of three local schools, consisting of two primary schools and one comprehensive school. It has recently added a new state of the art building to accommodate the lower key stages of the school.

This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who really wants to make a difference every day. We are looking for individuals with the correct attitudes and behaviors that can make an impact on students’ education and wellbeing.
You will be working mostly with students in year 7 who did not achieve the expected grades in year 6. You be influential in running 1 to 1 interventions and small learning support groups. These students will benefit from your support and assistant while improving their academic skills.
A lot of the students that you will be working with have additional learning needs. We are finding that there are being more and more children diagnosed with additional learning needs. Some of these include Dyslexia and Dyspraxia, Autism, Speech and Language difficulties and range of needs.
