Role - Teaching Assistant - General Cover - Secondary

Location - Tameside

Teaching Personnel are seeking an motivated and adaptable Teaching Assistant in the Tameside area. You will be working with Secondary aged pupils in Key Stages 3 - 4.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about contributing to making a significant impact on students’ academic learning and progress

You should possess excellent communication and relationship building skills and be able to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to provide individualised support to students.

The role:

• Earning potential £90- £95 per day
• School hours
• Work closely with teachers to plan and implement targeted interventions for students requiring extra support.
• Contribute to the delivery and planning of lessons.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and help encourage an inclusive learning environment.
• Manage small groups and bigger groups of students with the guidance of the class teacher

Requirements:

• The ability to build strong relationships with students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to deliver effective teaching strategies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
