Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a teaching assistant to work in the Swansea area. We currently work with a number of schools in the Swansea area, who are always on the lookout for additional support for their pupils. We offer part-time and full-time work, this flexibility in the hours will allow you to take control of your diary to create positive work life balance.
Teaching Assistant Must Have:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience of working with young people (not essential to be in a school)
- The ability to motivate and enthuse students
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
Role of a Teaching Assistant:
- Assisting the children in the class with basic tasks and activities
- Helping pupils diagnosed with learning difficulties throughout the day, offering encouragement and support
- Aiding the teacher with extra activities outside the classroom, including things like Sports Days and assemblies
- Maintaining a good standard of behaviour within the classroom environment
The successful candidate will have a starting pay of £83.85 per day. They will also have access to a number of free and discounted accredited CPD courses, such as Team Teach and a Level 2 Safeguarding qualification.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
