Job Title: Teaching Assistants Needed – Secondary & ALN Schools | Immediate Start

Location: Swansea 
Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time available
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Start Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about education and eager to support the next generation of learners? We're currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in Secondary Schools and Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Schools across Swansea.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and support staff to provide high-quality education and care to students aged 11–18. You'll play a key role in helping pupils with a range of abilities and needs, including those with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other learning challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with their learning in both group and one-on-one settings

  • Assisting teachers in preparing classroom resources and managing behavior

  • Providing tailored support to students with additional learning needs (ALN)

  • Promoting a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working in schools or with young people is preferred

  • A passion for education and making a difference

  • Patience, resilience, and strong communication skills

  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check – or willingness to obtain one
