Teaching Assistant

At Teaching Personnel, our schools are looking for enthusiastic and caring Psychology graduates to work within their team and support the wellbeing, learning, and behaviour of pupils in primary schools. This is the perfect opportunity for graduates considering careers in educational psychology, clinical psychology, teaching, counselling, or social work.

Your role will include:

• Supporting individual pupils or small groups with social, emotional, or learning needs
• Assisting teachers in creating inclusive and supportive classrooms
• Helping deliver interventions (e.g. emotional regulation, social skills, literacy support)
• Building trusting relationships with children and staff
• Observing and understanding pupil behaviour and development

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a degree in Psychology or a closely related field
• Is compassionate, reliable, and eager to learn
• Communicates effectively with children and adults
• Wants to make a real difference in young lives
