Are you an experienced or aspiring Teaching Assistant?
Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to fill a role with a September start on a part time basis,
You will be a part of a fully supportive team in a thriving primary school in St Austell which prides itself on the ability to make learning fun and engaging for all pupils.
Duties of the role will include but may not be limited to:
- Aiding the teacher with the day to day running of the classroom
- Manage any challenging behaviour in a positive and effective manner
- Be able to inspire and guide all pupils to follow the values and vision of the school
- May involve some 1:1 work with pupils
The ideal candidate would have experience in either KS1 or KS2, hold a teaching assistant or childcare qualifications (level 2/3) and be able to tackle all challenges with a positive and efficient manner. We will also accept applications from individuals with experience in their personal life or from working as a support worker, healthcare assistant or social worker for example.
