Teaching Assistant – Southport
Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Southport
Length of Role: Temp to perm – Starting ASAP
Pay Rate: £13.75 – £15.00 per hour
Type of Setting: Mainstream Primary School
A vibrant and supportive primary school in Southport is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys helping children achieve their best.
You will play a key role in supporting pupils throughout their school day, including those with additional learning needs. Your work will help create a positive and inclusive educational experience for every child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing tailored support to pupils with diverse needs
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities and preparation
- Supporting the development of key academic and social skills
- Ensuring a safe and encouraging learning environment
- Working as part of a committed staff team
About You:
- Previous experience is helpful but not essential
- Warm, patient and motivated to support young learners
- Confident delivering both individual and group support
- Able to work collaboratively within a school setting
