Job description

Make a Difference Every Day – LSA Roles in Southampton

Do you have experience supporting others? Have you worked in education, care, or youth settings? Or do you simply have a strong passion for helping young people with additional needs thrive?

Teaching Personnel are looking for compassionate and reliable Learning Support Assistants to work full time in Southampton schools.

What’s on offer?

  • £14.30 per hour

  • Term time only

  • Full-time hours (typically 8:30–3:30)

  • Long-term opportunities with potential for permanent contracts

You’ll be supporting pupils who need additional guidance, patience and encouragement throughout their school day.

You’ll need:

  • Relevant experience OR a strong desire to work with additional needs

  • A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Ideally be a driver or have good transport links

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
