Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
• Support students with their academic and social development in the classroom.
• Help manage and maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with teachers and other support staff to track and report on students’ progress.
• Assist with personal care where required, in line with the needs of individual students.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children with special educational needs (desirable but not essential).
• A caring, patient, and understanding approach to supporting children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• A passion for making a difference and supporting children to achieve their full potential.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
