Teaching Assistant (TA) – Southampton

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to join our supportive school teams in Fareham. This is a rewarding opportunity for anyone passionate about helping children succeed and thrive in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils individually or in small groups within the classroom

• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities

• Help pupils with additional needs, including SEN, social, emotional, or behavioural support

• Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

• Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence, and engagement in learning

About You:

• Patient, calm, and compassionate in your approach

• Experience working with children in schools or educational settings is preferred

• Knowledge of safeguarding and inclusive practices

• Strong communication skills and a team player

• Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
