Teaching Assistant

I am currently working with an alternative provision that is looking for a Teaching Assistant that specialises in dealing with SEMH and behavioural difficulties near Sleaford. You will have to be an enthusiastic individual who demonstrates care and compassion towards individuals who have struggled in mainstream education.

The role:

As a Teaching Assistant you will work with the students closely in order to gain a greater understanding of the individuals needs and reengage their learning and development. This role will pose unique challenges and rewards for the successful applicant; you will work with individuals who have been previously let down in the past and you will have the chance to put that right. For the right candidate this opportunity can provide the right platform for fantastic career and professional development.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Strong behaviour management
• Versatile and adaptable to working with various ages
• SEN or care experience
• Be able to deliver 1:1 intervention
• Nurture and develop the pupils social and academic potential
• Be able to work 8.30am till 4pm
