Experienced Teaching Assistant | PRU | Sherborne | September Start

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a role where you can genuinely change lives?

We are recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Sherborne this September.

This specialist setting supports young people who are:

  • On short-stay alternative provision placements
  • Permanently excluded or at risk of permanent exclusion
  • Accessing education due to medical needs
  • Undergoing SEND assessments

You'll work alongside a dedicated team to provide consistent support, build positive relationships, and help students overcome barriers to learning.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
  • Has worked with challenging behaviour, SEMH, SEND or alternative provision (desirable)
  • Is calm, resilient and confident in managing behaviour positively
  • Can build trust and motivate young people
  • Is passionate about helping every student succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
