Teaching Assistant – Full Time

Hours: Full time
Pay: £13–£14 per hour
About the School:
Upton Noble Primary is a welcoming Church of England voluntary controlled primary school serving children aged 2–11 years. The school is set in the beautiful Somerset countryside in the village of Upton Noble, near Bruton and Shepton Mallet. It has a warm, friendly, family atmosphere where every pupil is valued as an individual and encouraged to flourish academically, socially and spiritually.

Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 within the classroom
- Assist teachers in delivering learning activities
- Help pupils access the curriculum and participate confidently in school life
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children is ideal but not essential
- Caring, patient and enthusiastic attitude
- A DBS on the Update Service is preferred, or willingness to apply via Teaching Personnel
Training & Development:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
