Position: Year 1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield and Barnsley
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £77 - £85 per day (dependent on experience)
Submission Deadline: September 30th, 2023
Role Overview: As a Year 1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for young learners. You will work closely with the classroom teacher to support students' academic, social, and emotional development. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to students in various subjects.
- Assisting the teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Contributing to the development of tailored learning resources.
- Helping to maintain a positive and orderly classroom atmosphere.
- Offering individualized attention to students with special educational needs.
Requirements:
- Experience working with Year 1 students or within a primary school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education.
- Ability to adapt and assist in various classroom activities.
- Relevant qualifications and certifications are advantageous.
