Teaching Assistant

SEN Teaching Assistants needed urgently in the Salisbury area 

Teaching Personnel are working with an SEN School in Salisbury, looking for Teaching Assistants for both full time roles and bank staff. 

The school is a large SEN Setting catering for a variety of needs including Autism, PMLD and SLD. 

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working alongside other TA's to support the class teacher with their lessons. This can involve working 1-1 with students and working with small groups. Alongside sporting with their education you may also be required to support with physical and medical needs, inclduing personal care. up

We have full time roles available to start immediately, and we are also looking for TA's to work on a flexible supply basis. 

To be succesful in this role you should:

• have experience working with people with additional needs
• be pro-active and able to use your intiative
• be flexible 
• be confident working with children who may display challenging behaviour

You will also require an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS - Teaching Personnel can support you in appying for this.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
