Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel is seeking passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team in the Reading area.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational development of students, making a lasting impact on their lives.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, assisting with classwork and assignments.

Requirements:

- Enhanced DBS check and valid references: All applicants must pass our thorough vetting process, including an Enhanced DBS check and providing valid references.

- Right to work in the UK: Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK and be able to provide appropriate documentation.

- Proof of address: Applicants must provide proof of address as part of the vetting process.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Relevant experience: Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational setting is advantageous.

- Excellent communication: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration with teachers, students, and parents/guardians.

- Patience and empathy: A compassionate and understanding nature is crucial when working with students who may require additional support.

- Flexibility: The ability to adapt to different classrooms and learning environments is important, as well as being open to various teaching methods.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
