Job Title: Full-Time Teaching Assistant
Central Plymouth
Are you passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on the lives of students? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Full-Time Teaching Assistant in a school located in Central Plymouth. This is a full-time position starting from January, providing you with the chance to contribute to the development and success of students throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons.
- Support students in their academic and social development.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with additional needs.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers to assess and monitor student progress.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient and flexible approach to working with students.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- A commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
- Additional qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
