An alternative provision, based in Peterborough, are currently seeking active and engaging individuals, to support pupils between the ages of 11 and 16 years with specialist behavioural needs. This does include ADHD, SEMH (EBD) and other mental health conditions.
To apply for this position, you should expect to deal with challenging behaviour on a regular day-to-day basis and should ideally have previous experience of this. The ideal candidate for this particular role will also have current or previous training in behaviour management and/or de-escalation (Team Teach / Steps Training etc.).
Pupils will be given full access to the National Curriculum, delivered through a range of indoor and outdoor activities. All pupils have Physical Education lessons twice a week and also have access to practical cookery sessions throughout the academic year.
This is a long-term role, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate, through an introductory period with Teaching Personnel.
