Job Duties:

• Assist teachers in preparing and delivering educational activities.
• Provide individualised attention and support to students with learning tasks.
• Maintain a safe and organised learning environment.
• Supervise students during classroom activities and outings.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including record-keeping and preparing materials.

Required Qualifications:

• GCSEs in English and Maths.
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Clearance from DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service).

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths.

Experience:

Previous experience working in a school or educational setting.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of child development and learning processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic IT skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• First Aid certification.

Working Conditions:

• Part-time hours.
• Temporary position.
• Work in a school setting.
• May involve physical activities such as assisting with students' mobility.
