Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Job Duties:
- Assist teachers in preparing and delivering educational activities.
- Provide individualised attention and support to students with learning tasks.
- Maintain a safe and organised learning environment.
- Supervise students during classroom activities and outings.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including record-keeping and preparing materials.
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs in English and Maths.
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Clearance from DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service).
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths.
Experience:
Previous experience working in a school or educational setting.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of child development and learning processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic IT skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- First Aid certification.
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours.
- Temporary position.
- Work in a school setting.
- May involve physical activities such as assisting with students' mobility.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
