Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools (Okehampton)

Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join Primary Schools in the Okehampton area. We welcome applications from experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates exploring a career in education, or individuals with relevant childcare or classroom experience.

Your Role Will Include:

• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 with their learning and development
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
• Providing one-to-one or small group support to help pupils achieve their potential
• Working collaboratively with teachers and school staff to create a safe, inclusive learning environment

About You:

• Experience working with children (school, nursery, or voluntary settings considered)
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and passionate about helping pupils succeed
• Flexible and proactive approach to classroom needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
