Teaching Assistant – Full Time

Start Date: January
Pay: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour

Teaching Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with a supportive and forward-thinking Infant & Junior School Federation in the Tidworth area. Together, we are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join their Infant School team.

This role will involve working across the school, with a strong likelihood of being based within their large Resource Base, supporting children with a range of additional needs. The school is well-resourced, nurturing, and offers excellent guidance for those passionate about helping pupils thrive both academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to pupils with additional learning needs

• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider SEN team

• Assist in creating an inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environment

• Support pupils individually or in small groups to promote progress and independence

What We’re Looking For:

• A caring, proactive, and resilient individual

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)

• A genuine interest in supporting pupils with SEND

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
