Pay Rate: £110 – £120 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (Flexible)
Job Description:
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Secondary School in New Romney. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students’ learning, wellbeing, and personal development.
You will work closely with teaching staff to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Support students individually and in small groups

Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation

Provide extra support to students with SEN or additional learning needs
-
Encourage positive behaviour and student engagement
-
Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
-
Experience working with children or young people (preferred)
-
Positive, patient, and proactive approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
