Full Time (Term-Time Only)

Initially 1 Term – potential for extension

£85 – £95 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Are you ready to support and inspire pupils in a thriving primary school this September?

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time for the Autumn Term. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning, with the possibility of the role being extended beyond the first term.

The school is looking for someone enthusiastic, flexible, and committed to helping children reach their potential both academically and personally. You’ll work closely with teachers, providing tailored support to individuals and groups of pupils across the primary phase.

Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching and learning in the classroom under the direction of the teacher
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils where needed
  • Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Encourage good behaviour and engagement in lessons
  • Assist with preparation of resources and classroom organisation
  • Promote the wellbeing, safety, and progress of all pupils

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in a school or similar setting (desirable)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A positive, proactive, and flexible approach
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent)
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
