A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Moston is working in partnership with Teaching Personnel to recruit a caring, proactive, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from January.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and helping pupils reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils across the curriculum
• Assisting with lesson planning, delivery, and classroom activities
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Supporting children with diverse learning needs, including those with SEND or EAL
• Promoting positive behaviour and helping manage classroom routines
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support holistic development
• Contributing to the wider school community and participating in school events where appropriate

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to making a difference in children's lives. Ideally, you will have:

• Experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting
• A positive and nurturing attitude with a genuine passion for education
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles
• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3) is desirable but not essential
• Confidence in supporting children with additional needs and using strategies to aid learning
