Experienced Teaching Assistant – Full-Time KS2 Support
Location: Lymington | Full Academic Year | Start: ASAP

Are you an experienced and confident Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term opportunity in a supportive and well-established primary school?

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a welcoming school in the Lymington area who are seeking a committed TA to join their Key Stage 2 team on a full-time basis for the remainder of the academic year. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact in the classroom and beyond.

The successful candidate will provide both general classroom support and work closely with pupils in small group interventions, supporting core subjects such as reading, writing, and maths.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities

  • Delivering structured intervention sessions to small groups of pupils

  • Helping to raise attainment across core subjects in KS2

  • Providing pastoral support and encouraging positive behaviour

  • Assisting in planning and preparation of resources for targeted support

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience working in a primary school setting (KS2 experience preferred)

  • Is confident leading small groups for intervention work

  • Can build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff

  • Is proactive, adaptable, and able to use their initiative

  • Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to apply)
