Teaching Assistant Level 2 (SEN experience preferred) – Full Time
Location: Secondary School, Leyland
Start Date: January 5th
Are you passionate about supporting young learners and helping them reach their full potential? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly secondary school team in Leyland.
About the role:
As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will work closely with teachers to support students’ learning, provide one-to-one or group support, and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will play a vital role in helping students overcome challenges and succeed academically and socially.
What we’re looking for:

Experience working with secondary school students, ideally as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
-
Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is preferred
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
-
Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting young people’s development

Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic school environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
